We’ve been putting the finishing touches to our food bank donation. To mark the occasion, we set two of our daytime pupils an exciting real-world challenge!
Armed with just £6.50 each, E and M headed to the local Co-op on a mission. Could they pick up as many useful items as possible without busting the budget? No small feat when every penny counts!
🛒 E came back with a brilliant haul. Spending just £6.44, there was a tiny 6p to spare!
🛒 M was equally impressive. A careful £6.40 meant 10p remained unspent!
Both did a fantastic job. With a little planning and careful decision making, they showed that you really can make every penny count. A brilliant example of real-world maths in action! 🌟
