Daytime tuition

Full-time or part-time daytime tuition for home-schooled pupils and students funded through schools, local authorities or alternative provision (EOTAS).

We offer daytime tuition five days a week, supporting both home-schooled pupils and those funded through schools, local authorities, or alternative provision (EOTAS). We work with pupils aged 5 and up across a wide range of subjects, with flexible sessions tailored to individual needs.

What we cover

  • GCSE Maths, English and Science
  • Functional Skills (Maths and English)

Sessions can be booked regularly or as needed, with flexible hours to suit each student.

A flexible approach that works

We currently support a range of pupils, with sessions ranging from 1 to 18 hours per week.

  • Small groups (typically no more than 3 pupils)
  • Individualised teaching within each session
  • Two teachers on site at all times

Many of our pupils come to us needing a different approach, whether that’s building confidence, catching up academically, or finding a more suitable learning environment.

We focus on steady, meaningful progress, both academically and personally.

Student journeys

Every student’s journey is different, but with the right support, real progress is possible. Here are a few examples of how pupils have progressed with daytime tuition.

Student A (LEA funded), alternative provision (Year 7)

Worked on a full Year 7 curriculum over 12 weeks, covering Maths and core subjects in a focused setting. Alongside academic progress, they also planned a successful fundraiser and even received a reply from King Charles, building confidence as well as knowledge.

Student B, returned to mainstream school

Joined in Year 9 for English, Maths and Science support. Quickly progressed ahead of GCSE targets and improved in confidence, leading to a successful return to mainstream school.

Student C (school funded), GCSE progress and re-engagement

Joined in Year 10 after difficulties in school. Within 10 weeks, grades improved across all subjects, particularly Maths, and confidence grew enough to transition back into mainstream education.

Student D, building confidence and engagement

Previously struggling with attendance, this Year 10 pupil improved engagement through a mix of academic work and confidence-building activities. Now working towards GCSEs with a more positive approach to learning.
