Mock exams

Realistic exam conditions, properly marked papers, and feedback that helps students walk into the real thing with confidence.

Mock exams sound simple: sit a paper, get a mark. In practice the mark itself is the least useful thing. What makes mocks worth doing is the conditions, the timing, and the feedback afterwards. Our mocks give students all three.

What’s included

  • A full past or equivalent paper at the right level
  • Proper exam conditions: quiet room, correct timing, no phones
  • Marking against the real mark scheme by someone who’s taught the subject
  • A written feedback report covering strengths, weaknesses, and the specific topics to revisit
  • Optional one-to-one walk-through of the paper to unpick where marks were lost

Who it’s for

Any student approaching a real exam benefits from at least one properly-run mock, whether that’s a Year 6 11+ candidate, a Year 11 GCSE student, or an adult learner sitting Functional Skills. Most families book a mock 4 to 8 weeks out from the real exam, with a follow-up feedback session to plan what to focus on in the remaining time.

Booking

Mocks are arranged around school timetables. Get in touch with the subject, level, and the date of the real exam, and we’ll suggest a schedule that works.
